I am very surprised at the poor reviews. We stayed at Hotel De Petris for two nights in June in a Superior Room. It was large and very clean. The A/C worked perfectly and the bathroom was also large and updated. We had a private terrace with a nice table and chairs overlooking a quiet courtyard. The location is fantastic along with the restaurants in the area. The owner was very friendly, and the breakfast was fine. Eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, freshly made croissants, an assortment of meats and cheeses. This is an old building which gives it a unique character. We would definitely stay there again.

Снимали гостиницу на 2 ночи, дали нам номер просторный, но старый, кондиционер не работал, ждали около часа так и не заработал, ходили на стойку регистрации раза 3-4, в последний раз нам уже согласились поменять номер. Второй номер был хороший. Но многих удобств нет, например салфеток, воды, тапочек и т.д Но в целом переночевать хватит. Но на долго жить там не советую

I dont understand the negative reviews regarding this hotel. No it is not the Ritz but is clean, spacious and a wonderful, kind and helpful staff. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and upon arriving there was champagne and 2 glasses cooling on ice for us such a lovely surprise not at all expected We appreciated such a kind and thoughtful surprise. The hotel itself is very well located making it easy to explore this beautiful city. We are enjoying our stay at this little jewel of a hotel.

A short walk to Trevi fountain and A little further to Spanish steps. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars around hotel area. Lovely cafe on corner for buffet breakfast at €12. Room was modern, very comfortable and clean with a lovely bathroom. Originally, we booked into a different hotel but after a 1 night stay there we made the decision to move here to this lovely hotel. The lady at reception was extremely professional and polite, dealing with our requests efficiently. Thank you for a wonderful stay and if we return to Rome, we would definitely stay here again.
