A nice stay at The Mill, food and service were great, the bar had a nice vibe…setting was relaxing, nice to see the ducks on the water…excellent location for walking into Chester. Room was very comfortable, staff were helpful and welcoming. Top marks go to Sam, absolutely first class, every guest was met with a smile and cheery attitude, nothing too much trouble, thank you Sam, you really are a breath of fresh air!
Car park charge was not advertised previously so ￡12 a day was a surprise.

A nice clean hotel, close to Chester City Centre. Limited parking facilities, with very friendly helpful staff. I will stay there again and I recommend this hotel.

Smashing hotel in smashing location with ample parking, staff friendly and helpful,bar staff on the ball, ?small issue but previous guests bikini top found down side of cabinet in room which was easily spotted, only other complaint is our stay was not long enough, will definitely book further stays at the Mill Hotel and Spa.

I recently stayed at the Steam Mill Hotel in Chester and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s industrial-chic design and prime location near the city center made exploring Chester easy and enjoyable. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend Steam Mill Hotel for anyone visiting Chester—great service, stylish atmosphere, and excellent value for money.

Stopped over for one night… service on reception was friendly and quick, room was cleaned to a high standard and was furnished very nicely, service at the bar was lovely, breakfast absolutely delicious… second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely be back again !

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the swimming pool and the sauna, service is always great. The only thing that lets it down is the rooms are slightly dated and could do with a revamp.

Hotel is in perfect location to the city shops. Parking is good. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfy. Sadly the breakfast let the hotel down big time. Cold food, cheap sausages, undercooked bacon, cold toast. Not a pleasant experience. Next time we won't eat.

The hotel itself was very clean and lovely. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The only problem we had was that the pillows were hard and uncomfortable, and the 1st night, was difficult to sleep, but the receptionist managed to get us some softer ones, which were a little bit better.
