We stayed here for 2 nights. It is in the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, where you can trek Golden Monkeys and Gorillas. Very nice hotel, friendly and competent staff, good restaurant (you choose from 2 options for starters, main course and dessert in advance, all the food we had was very good). Spacious rooms with a comfortable bed, the staff prepare a fire in the chimney and put a bed bottle in your bed while you have dinner, as the nights can get very cold. Can definitely recommend a stay here.

Im Rahmen unserer Ugnada-Rundtour, hatten wir auch einen Stopp für 2 N?chte in dieser kleinen, super angenehmen Lodge. Wir wurden gleich super warmherzig empfangen, mit einem leckeren Fruchtgetr?nk. Dann ging's zu unserem Bungalow. Anfangs hatten wir ein paar Probleme mit dem warmen Wasser und dem Abfluss der Dusche. Die Crew z?gerte nicht lange und gab uns den besten verfügbaren Bungalow, den sie hatten - dieser war perfekt, alles stimmte. Die Crew war super lieb und zuvorkommend, immer wieder fragten sie nach unserem Wohlbefinden. Genial fanden wir den kostenlosen Schuhreinigungsservice. Unglaublich, nach unserem Trekking zum Grab von Dian Fossey, bekamen wir die Schuhe so sauber wieder, als h?tten wir sie gerade erst im Laden gekauft. Alle in der Lodge gaben sich die gr??te Mühe, sodass es für jeden Gast unvergesslich bleiben soll. Wer das Gorilla Trekking in Ruanda plant, w?hlt einfach diese Lodge. Das Preis-Leistungsverh?ltnis ist perfekt. Und wer Fu?massagen liebt, wird diese in der Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge als super wohltuend empfinden. Nochmals vielen vielen lieben Dank an die gro?artige Crew. Wir haben versprochen wiederzukommen, wenn wir in einigen Jahren zurückkommen, um den Trek zu den Ruanda-Gorillas nachzuholen. Best service ever: when we came back from our tracking, all our shoes and socks were washed, our feet became a wonderful massage and crogs. In the evening each room had a fire on and hot water bottles in the beds. Wonderful stuff, very flexible, friendly, heartly and natural. The rooms are appropriated to the area, no extravagancies, what we appreciated. Towels were changed each day, shower products included, hot water immediately coming, even hair dryer and possibility to hang several wet towels. The wifi was also in our rooms. Next to our tables, while eating, little portable ovens were provided, warm blankets laid on the many comfortable sofas. Breakfast was so delicious. We recommend the fruit plate.

I spent only one night at the Da Vince Gorilla Lodge and wish I could have stayed longer! The room and the bathroom were big and charming. I really enjoyed the fire in my room's fireplace when I came back from dinner, as well as the hot-water bottles in my bed. Service was excellent. It included the cleaning of my trekking boots, and a late check-out to refresh, when coming back from the golden monkeys' experience. The restaurant is super cosy, also with a fireplace. The food is excellent. The staff are super friendly and will do everything to make your stay a wonderful and relaxing experience.

I would give 6 stars if I could! Such a lovely hotel, great food, great atmosphere and really lovely and attentive staff, we had such a great time. The rooms are comfortable and when it’s cold at night, the staff light the fires in the rooms and put hot water bottles in your bed. They even offer complementary foot massage for guests returning from treks.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the food was lovely. Quirky golden monkey joined us for breakfast and of course the resident dog was like home from home for me.

The very best place to stay in rowanda. Staff are excellent and make you feel like family not tourists. FRiendly lodge dog named sparky who will warm your fett at night. Foot massages after treks are great. Food among the best we have ever had traveling. Very accommodating to vegetarian diet as we are or any diet. Always try their soups Would give our highest recommendations

We had a wonderful stay at the Da Vinci Lodge!!! The staff Debra & Judge were amazing!!! Such great service and yummy food! When you come back to the lodge they have juice and warm towels waiting for you. They also take your hiking boots and clean them to look brand new! They also have the best lodge dog, Spark. I wanted to bring this cool dog home. He walked us to our room at night but never tried to come in. Such a great experience I would highly recommend!!!!
