  • Guest：We really enjoyed staying at our his historic and recently renovated hotel. Rooms have lots of exposed brick and historic charm mixed with modern showers. Our room had a beautiful double door with shutters going out to a shared balcony that has a beautiful view of the bay in Charlotte Amalie. Easy walking distance to the bay and to numerous restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. Had a chance to talk to owner Jessica who took time to answer questions about the property and St Thomas. Renovations are ongoing on the backside of the hotel but did not hear them or disrupt our stay. Will book again when we circle back through the area later in the month. Thanks again!
  • Guest：Hotel 1829 is reopened and accepting reservations. Meticulously renovated with all of the necessary amenities, but with an old St Thomas feel. Newly constructed guest rooms, bar and pool are fantastic, as is the lobby/museum which houses numerous items from the island, and includes a one of a kind Tiffany stained glass window you won't want to miss.
