Guest：A peaceful retreat with clean comfortable rooms with excellent food and hosts. It’s a great place to relax and unwind. Both the bedroom and reception rooms are tasteful decorated and the ground floor rooms are great places to sit, read and enjoy a drink from the bar. What’s not to like.
Guest：From the moment we got to the house we knew it was special. Patrick welcomed us and gave us the key to our room. There are 9 rooms over two levels. The house and our room (7) were beautifully decorated. Patrick was in charge of the meals. Breakfast was plentiful each morning with hot options and fruit & cereal also available. We had dinner our first night and it was so great. Patrick cooks all his dishes on site and you could definitely tell the difference. Julie is so warm & welcoming. She makes sure you having everything you need for breakfast & dinner. She will ask about your activities planned for the day and what you did the day before. My husband had a couple of nights in the small bar downstairs talking to Patrick. This was nice of Patrick as I was exhausted from the day’s activities. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was even space for a vanity table. There was a fan, hairdryer, soft towels and plenty of outlets in the room. I highly recommend room 7 is requested if you stay here. The view of the front garden is beautiful and the view from the bathroom is also incredible.
Guest：The room we had, No 9, was very spacious with beautiful views. The term en suite doesn't adequately describe the huge bathroom with a slipper bath as well as a shower. For us the ultimate was the food. The cooking was exceptional and at ￡39 for a 3 course dinner, very good value. We will definitely be booking again.
