Maria was a great hostess and after confirming with you on the day of our arrival, we were allocated room number 2, facing the street. We really enjoyed our two day stay and did not have to travel anywhere, as O's Restaurant was 30m from your establishment. Overall a fun time was had by all. Looking forward to coming back to Parys and visiting Mirabel Guest House again.
?????????? We had a wonderful stay at Mirabel in Parys. The room was spacious and comfortable, with 2 single beds and 1 double bed, perfect for families or small groups. The room is well equipped with coffee and tea facilities, a fridge, and a good hairdryer. The large bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub was a real bonus. Everything was spotlessly clean. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi made our stay even more convenient. Maria is a lovely and welcoming host who makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Another big plus: just two houses down the road there is a great restaurant, perfect for a delicious dinner and a relaxed breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Parys!
Lovely little place. Friendly staff. good location. A bit over priced compared to others per night. The room was nice and spacious, would have liked it a bit darker at night as a lot of light shines in making it difficult to sleep. lovely bathroom and overall a nice stay.
We had a good stay, we struggled with the shower and warm water and we felt the hygiene with the coffee and sugar is not up to standard. We would have also liked to have sealed bottled water in the fridge as the water provided in glass bottle tasted horrible.
The 2 outside rooms are clean and beautiful. The house rooms need attention. You can't drink the water. Buy drinking water before you book in. Solar system was a bonus, load shedding was not an issue.
The Guesthouse is centrally located which is great. It also has back up power and jojo tank which means there is always electricity and therefore water during loadshedding. Parys seems so have a severe water crisis. The actual room was stuffy and the carpets in there were dirty. There are no windows in the bedroom so you must leave the door open the entire time to allow fresh air in (again, the room is extremely stuffy and smelly). I asked to be moved to another room - since the guesthouse was empty, no response was provided and the request was ignored. The bed was good and the pillows were ok.
Loved the choice of little decorative items. Linne was also a pleasure to sleep in. Quick to respond to our booking request. The place was spotless. WiFi good. Secure parking. Easy walk to town and restaurants nearby.
We booked specifically for the convenient walking distance to the Two Oceans Marathon start/end and were very happy. Staff are super friendly and accommodating, breakfasts are a feast and our room was clean and comfortable. During load shedding lights and Wi-Fi were available.
