Firstly everyone who works at the hotel is just wonderful . Gilbert the owner is just the best, so helpful friendly and very helpful when we found our flight home was delayed, allowing us to use his phone to sort it all out. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day . Loved the breakfast lots of choice even bread and a toaster . Two wonderful ladies cook eggs and bacon to order as well as a full buffet Great happy hour very good cocktails Lovely pool and seating area perfect to come back to every day

We spent three nights at the Ballena Rey Hotel. The hotel is very, very pleasant. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good and plentiful. The pool is well-maintained. The hotel and its rooms/bungalows are clean and modern. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

We could only spend 24 hours in Uvita and this family feel hotel was perfect. We parked there, enjoyed a few excellent happy hour cocktails, ate a good home cooked meal plus a decent breakfast the next day. Food and drink prices were very reasonable for a hotel. The pool looked lovely and clean - great for kids. Shame we didn’t have time to swim but we had opted for a 8.30 whale watching tour which the hotel kindly sorted for us (quite late the night before). We were lucky to see a humpback. Staff were unfailingly warm, helpful and happy.

Un lugar totalmente recomendado,excelente atención. Reservado y acogedor. Habitaciones limpias, el ba?o con sus respectivos toallas y papel, y jabón, almohadas y sábanas adecuadas para un buen descanso

Very lovely place. Close to the beach and restaurants. It was our first time in Costa Rica and this hotel. The staff were great and really helpful. Room had everything you can think off.. Very good and varied breakfast. The pool was nice and clean.

Excellent service, great buffet breakfast, location and facilities. The beds were very comfortable. Nice AC in all rooms. The swimming pool was very nice and clean.

Primera vez en el Hotel. La atención de Gilberto y demás personal fue excelente. Habitación bien equipada. Desayuno muy bueno y variado. La piscina muy bonita y limpia.

Cada a?o visitamos este hotel y es estar en casa, la calidez del trato desde que llegamos, habitaciones siempre limpias y cada a?o nos sorprende algo nuevo, mi hija a crecido visitando este lugar tan acogedor La comida siempre deliciosa, la seguridad y las instalaciones para un descanso, cerca de todo y parqueo siempre disponible, no vemos visitar la zona de bahía ballena sin hospedarnos en este lugar, y sin duda un lugar para recordar a todos, la calidad del lugar muy por encima del costo del hospedaje, un lugar rodeada de naturaleza y tranquilidad

Un séjour génial de 3 nuits dans cet h?tel. La piscine était vraiment bien pour les enfants. La chambre était tout confort avec une cuisine et les ustensiles pour cuisiner. Un accueil aux petits soins grace à Gilberto, le gérant de l’h?tel à qui je donne une mention spéciale pour son aide avant et pendant ?tée séjour. Le lieu est idéalement placé à Uvita, à deux pas du Parc Marino Ballena. Un séjour que nous oublierons et je recommande l’h?tel mille fois. Merci

Me encantó. Un lugar acogedor. Familiar. El personal una atención maravillosa. Muy atentos, amables y agradables. Incluye el desayuno la estadía y estuvo delicioso. Los apartamentos cuentan con todo para cocinar. Mi hijo estuvo muy feliz. Pasamos el día de mi cumplea?os muy felices.
